Shin Yubin ‘Bitter’ goes 2-4 for 15-year-old Japanese next big thing…Jang Woo-jin, Park Kang-hyun win

Shin Yubin (19-Korea Air) had a bitter pill to swallow after her recent run of success.

It happened in the women’s singles final of the World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender Tunis 2023 ($75,000 prize pool), which continued on Friday (local time) in Tunis, Tunisia.

Shin, ranked 16th in the world, had to settle for a runner-up finish after falling 2-4 (8-11, 5-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-7, 8-11) to 15-year-old Japanese prospect Miwa Harimoto, ranked 25th 토토사이트.

Harimoto Miwa, the younger sister of world No. 4 Tomokazu Harimoto (20), won her first women’s singles title at a WTT event.

Shin Yubin was crowned women’s singles champion at the WTT Contender Lagos 2023 in Nigeria last week. In addition to the women’s singles, Shin failed to reach the top of the podium in the women’s doubles (quarterfinals) and mixed doubles (runner-up) at the Tunis event.
