Eden Hazard, 32, once one of the Premier League’s best players, is on the verge of retirement.
Spanish newspaper Marca published an article titled “Xhaka on the verge of retirement” on Sept. 9 (ET), highlighting the bitter reality that Xhaka has nowhere to go after ending his contract with Real Madrid at the end of last season.
According to the report, Azar has only received offers from Belgian second division club KVC Basterlo. He hasn’t even received offers from the American Premier League or the Saudi Arabian Premier League, both of which are in the market for veteran stars. 메이저놀이터
“His steps are heading towards an eventual departure from soccer,” said Marca, suggesting that it’s likely he will retire sooner rather than later.
During his time at Chelsea, Hazard was considered one of the best wingers in the league. But since joining Real in 2019, everything has gone awry.
After suffering a major injury during a Champions League match, he returned to the team but failed to replicate his performances at Chelsea.
As a result, he spent the last three years on the sidelines and was labeled as a ‘fringe’ player.
After leaving Real, Azpilicueta expressed his desire to extend his contract, but no clubs have been interested in the down-and-out former World Cup star.
