Last year’s Rookie of the Year ATL Harris was placed on the disabled list with a back problem.

Harris was placed on the injured list.

MLB.com, the official homepage of Major League Baseball, reported that the Atlanta Braves registered outfielder Michael Harris II on the injured list (IL) on April 8 (Korean time).

According to MLB.com, Harris was placed on the 10-day IL due to back strain. Atlanta has called up outfielder Ellie White.

Harris, who won the National League Rookie of the Year award last year, showed considerable sluggishness at the beginning of this season. He was just .217/.280/.261 with 1 RBI and 2 stolen bases in the first 7 games of the season. He was a stark contrast to his .297/.339/.514 19 homers, 64 RBIs and 20 stolen bases in 114 games last year.
