Outfielder Lewis Brinson (29), who was a great prospect, will advance to the Japanese Professional Baseball (NPB).
The Yomiuri Giants team officially announced on the 12th that it had signed a player contract with Brinson for the 2023 season. He has number 42 on his back. According to Nikkan Sports, Brinson’s estimated annual salary is 130 million yen (1.23 billion won). He said through the club, “I am very honored to be given the best opportunity. We are looking forward to new challenges in Tokyo.” Brinson was released as a free agent (FA) after the season and was looking for a new team.
Brinson, who was nominated in the 29th overall in the 1st round of the 2012 draft (Texas Rangers), received $1.625 million (2.02 billion won) as a sign-up fee. He wore a Milwaukee Brewers uniform in the August 2016 trade for catcher Jonathan Luke Roy and made his big 바카라.league debut in 2017.
